A History Lesson with Lots of Laughs. Raw. Extreme. Lyrical. Explosive. Rumble Theatre Productions presents STRAINS.

"After all, history is in our minds. It is what we think happened."

Five Characters. Six Interconnecting Episodes. This new Canadian production, set against the backdrop of the 20th Century, investigates social and political morality in conflict with the human heart. Traversing one hundred years of history in the relative light of human behaviour -STRAINS will be created collaboratively under the direction of Chris Gerrard-Pinker and Norman Armour and can be seen at the Station Street Arts Centre from October 18 to 29. STRAINS is the second in and the corner stone of a trilogy that began with Manipulations (heldover from its premiere at the 1992 Vancouver Fringe Festival.)

STRAINS is being presented by Rumble Theatre Productions, the people who brought Wireless Graffiti, Two Small Bodies and A Concise History of Drumming to Vancouver audiences. Come see the season opener of Vancouver's most alarming theatre company.
